Slow strengthening of Latvia’s resilience in preventing and combating corruption: an analysis of causes

The aim of the article is to present authors’ assessment effectiveness anti-corruption policy in Latvia, establish compliance national strategies with EU goals terms preventing and combating corruption. research methods at confirming a hypothesis that order deepen reforms strengthen resilience fight against corruption, it not enough for Latvia conduct only institutional reforms, but important promote values. study based on methodology new institutionalism axiological analysis. authors argue if role non-democratic values significant, will slow down progressive needed bring Latvia’s policies fully line development strategies.
